Centre for Digital Media (Visual Story Project – October 2009)

Description: A Visual Story project (film based – game) implementing character development using a narrative in an interactive flash environment.

Multiple roles: Project Manager, Photography, Art Director , Script Editor, Flash Programmer

I contributed into script development and brainstorming of ideas, in later stages suggested an art theme to be implemented in flash for the look and feel of the play area. User interface design and photography was also handled by me. Finally the project required a Project manager which I stepped up to and was involved managing team members resources and personal collaboration. Keeping the team happy and organized was also a task which I was successful in.

What I learned | Challenges:

Personnel – Management, Creating a flow in production of design elements, keeping the team moral up and keeping the team happy.

Tools I Used: Flash AS2, Adobe Photoshop, Corel paintshop pro | Hardware: NIKON D3X
