Centre For Digital Media (Visual story Project – September 2009)

DESCRIPTION: A visual story using fluid pictures and audio combined to make a flash interactive storytelling device.

PLOT: “Just when they all thought that their system has reached the desired heights of humanity, technology and financial boom they realized that it was their end. The digits that they were relying on fired back but soon they found the one who was operating those digits, not just their but everyone’s.”

My role: Programmer (Flash AS3)

Self-taught Flash AS3 programming from scratch to an intermediate level and implemented learnt skills to complete a 5 week project within deadlines.

What I learned | Challenges:

I had to learn Flash AS3 without a clue about flash, because there was no other member with a programming background, I took the task to learn flash and make mock-ups of screens and UI elements, explained the limitations of flash and also what we are trying to achieve within a 5 week project.

Tools I Used: Adobe Flash (AS3), Photoshop CS4, Picasa
