My attempt to make a matte painting using a plate combining 2d and 3d elements. Primary challenge was that the image had no camera info, thus lot of trial and error and eye-balling had to be done to make the light and 3D planes line up and become believable. Procedural city painted with Vue 8.
2 days in making approx, 10 hrs.
